The Beautiful Skagit Valley lies in the northwestern corner of Washington between the ocean waters of the Puget Sound and the Cascade Mountains. The Skagit Valley offers a wide array of outdoor recreational opportunities for visitors.  Boating, sailing, kayaking are very popular and the San Juan Islands are only a  ferry ride away. The Skagit Valley Tulip Festival is a spring festival attended by thousands of
visitors. It is an annual event April1- April 30.
